Late last night I was lying awake in bed
I just can´t fight all this noise inside my head

Taxi horns, power drills, and car alarms
Hardcore porn, sleeping pills and roadmap arms

Thought I heard a voice inside my head
Better get out while you´re able it said, or you´re dead

Late last night as I drifted off to sleep
Gunshots shattered my moment of relief
Footsteps ran down the unrelenting street
